www.Giftcardmall.com/Mygift: Activate Card and Check Balance

What is Giftcardmall Mygift?

Giftcardmall Mygift (www.Giftcardmall.com/mygift) is the official self-service hub for your prepaid Visa Gift Card. Register the card, activate or replace it, create a PIN, earn up-to-5 % cash-back rewards at participating stores, check your live balance, and read the full terms—all in one place.

www.Giftcardmall.com/mygift Activate — How to Activate Your Visa Gift Card

  1. Visit www.Giftcardmall.com/mygift (or scan the QR / follow the sticker on the front of the card).
  2. Enter 16-digit card number, “valid thru” date, and the 3-digit CVV.
  3. (Optional) Create a ZIP-code billing address and 4-digit PIN.
Tip: The ZIP is required for most online, mail, or phone purchases; the PIN lets you choose “Debit” at checkout. Neither works at ATMs or for cash back.
  4. You’ll see “Activation Successful”—your card is ready anywhere Visa Debit is accepted inside the United States.

www.Giftcardmall.com/mygift Balance — How to Check Your Giftcardmall Balance

  • Online 24 / 7: Log in at Giftcardmall.com/mygift for your real-time balance plus 60-day transaction log.
  • Phone 24 / 7: Call the automated line 1-855-202-5628 (toll-free).
  • Manual tracking: Keep receipts or jot the balance after each swipe; not every merchant can see what remains.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What exactly is this card and where does it work?

The Visa Gift Card is a single-load prepaid debit card issued by MetaBank®, Member FDIC. Use it for goods and services at any U.S. merchant that accepts Visa Debit. It is not redeemable for cash (except where law demands) and not usable for:

  • ATMs or cash-back transactions
  • Gambling, recurring payments, or manual card-imprint merchants
  • Any merchant located outside the United States

2. How does a purchase work?

Swipe / dip / tap and pick Credit (✔) or enter your PIN for Debit. The sale amount immediately comes off your available balance.

3. Why should I register the card?

Online, mail-order, and phone merchants validate your name, address, and phone with the issuing bank. Registering those details at Giftcardmall.com/mygift prevents needless declines.

4. How can I stay on top of my balance and transactions?

  • Website or phone (see “Balance” section above)
  • Written 60-day statement—request it from Customer Service at no charge

5. What fees apply after purchase?

Fee Amount When It’s Charged
Purchase Fee Up to $5.95 Paid at the cash register when you buy the card
Monthly Inactivity Fee $4.95 / month Starts Month 13 of no spending; pauses the moment you use the card again
Lost / Stolen Replacement $5.00 Deducted from balance when you request a new card
Expired-Card Replacement $0.00 Free reissue when “valid thru” date passes and funds remain

Regular use avoids inactivity fees. These fees can drain your balance if the card sits dormant long enough.

6. Do the funds or the plastic expire?

  • Money: Never expires.
  • Card: Stops working after the “valid thru” date or when the balance hits $0. Call Customer Service for a free replacement loaded with any remaining funds.

7. Can I reload money?

No. Value may only be added by the Award Sponsor (Blackhawk Network California, Inc.) through the 5 % Back rewards program described below.

8. How does the “up to 5 % back” reward work?

  • Shop at participating retailers (see the live list at Giftcardmall.com/mygift).
  • You’ll earn up to 5 % of the purchase—including tax—rounded to the nearest cent.
  • Cash-back posts within 48 hours of the transaction settling.
  • Rewards continue until your leftover balance is < $0.10 (too little to round up).
  • Return an item and the previously credited reward is reversed.

The reward is offered solely by Blackhawk Network, not by MetaBank® or Visa.

9. What happens if my purchase costs more than the card balance?

Ask the cashier for a split-tender sale: charge the exact remaining card balance first, then pay the rest with another method. Not all merchants allow splits—check before swiping.

10. Why did a restaurant, hotel, or gas-pump transaction decline?

  • Food / service merchants pre-authorize up to 20 % extra for tips; keep that cushion on your card.
  • Hotels often place large holds at check-in; refunds of unused funds can take up to 30 days.
  • Fuel pumps may pre-authorize $75–$125. Prepay inside to avoid holds.

11. How do I report a lost or stolen card?

Call 1-855-202-5628 immediately, 24 / 7. Provide your 16-digit number (write it down separately now). A $5 replacement fee applies; your remaining balance transfers to the new card.

12. Can I get or change a PIN?

Yes—set or reset a PIN online or by phone. PINs work only for purchase transactions (never for cash at ATMs).

13. What about receipts and refunds?

  • Save receipts for your records and to resolve disputes.
  • Merchant-initiated refunds post as soon as the retailer submits them; timing is outside Giftcardmall’s control.

14. Authorized users—can someone else swipe my card?

Until you sign, you may hand the card to another person. Once signed, it’s non-transferable. If you give someone access to the card or card number, you’re responsible for their transactions until you revoke permission with Customer Service.

15. What if an unauthorized transaction occurs?

Visa’s Zero Liability Policy means you pay $0 for fraud if you exercise reasonable care. Report the issue within 60 days; otherwise, recovery may be limited.

16. Business days & customer support

  • Business days: Monday–Friday (U.S. federal holidays excluded).
  • Customer Service: 1-855-202-5628 | 10615 Professional Circle #102, Reno NV 89521
